Our ambition for you at EN is simple. We want you to achieve your full potential so that you can go on to fulfilling careers.
This year we are proud of the five students who have gone to study at Cambridge University joining the hundreds of alumni from EN who have gone on to Oxford and Cambridge and the thousands who have gone on to Britain’s best universities. We are equally proud of the thousands of students over our thirty year history who have gone straight into employment and are playing a very important role in our energy industry, our business sector and our community at large.
Our vision is to provide the best possible learning experience for 16-19 year olds in the area and our results testify to this with a further increase in 2014 and a 99% pass rate at A level. And to help prepare you for the world of work, we collaborate with a large number of employers across all the main industry sectors, to provide a whole range of work related learning opportunities for you such as; work placements, industry days, mentoring opportunities and enterprise education. We recognise that you need to know that your education is relevant to your future working life.
We have recently invested over £7 million in new buildings and are about to complete a new Art Building which will expand our studio spaces. We are also delighted to announce that for eight consecutive years we have been the top college in the whole of the Eastern region for sport.
So we look forward to welcoming you to our Taster Day on Friday 26 June. Come and see just what makes EN so special!Daphne King
