About CSF

The Community Sports Foundation (CSF) is the official charity partner of Norwich City Football Club and helps over 20,000 people a year achieve their goals through football and sport, supporting some of the most disadvantaged, disabled and talented people across Norfolk.

CSF delivers quality, innovative services across its core departments; Football, Sport, Disability, Health, Community Cohesion, Schools, and Education.

The East Norfolk Sixth Form College Elite Football Programme in partnership with Norwich City Community Sports Foundation, is an exciting opportunity for young talented footballers between the ages of 16-18 to continue their academic, footballing and career development through East Norfolk Sixth Form College and Norwich City Football Club.

Elite Football

This programme provides the chance for players to combine an intensive 11-a-side football training and college fixture programme with a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport, over a two-year period.

Students on the course will study a carefully planned pathway of modules to provide them with a broad range of knowledge and experience whilst remaining linked to potential career pathways.

The unique learning environment created through a Norwich City based programme allows students to be exposed to a variety of working areas of a professional football club and its staff to enhance the delivery of core units.

Players who stand out in these programmes will have the opportunity to represent Norwich City FC in fixtures against teams from other professional football clubs.

"I particularly enjoyed my politics course and English literature course. The English literature trip to the battle fields during A2 is one of my favourite memories form East Norfolk. I also loved how passionate the tutors were about their subjects. "
Sarah Ellero
Former EN Student
"East Norfolk gave me the stepping stones I needed to be where I am today and it is safe to say I would not be in the position I am today without them and I am truly thankful for the help and support my tutors and the college gave me."
Louis Cook
2012-2014
"East Norfolk was such a wonderful college due to the dedication and commitment of the teaching staff to our learning, and their support throughout the academic year, from extra revision sessions to university applications."
Rebecca Wigmore
2012-2013
"The two years I spent at ENSFC were two of the best of my education and the enthusiasm of my law teacher was what encouraged me to consider studying law at degree level. All of my tutors were approachable and 100% supportive when it came to making decisions about higher education. Sport on Wednesday afternoons was also a big highlight for me and I have many great memories of hockey training and road trips with some really great friends who I then went on to University with."
Abi Creak
Former EN Student
"My memories of college are very positive ones! Not only did I meet some great people - both student and teachers, but it gave me the grounding to apply myself, to question and to think critically. ENSFC acted as a fantastic platform to help me understand what I wanted to do at university and beyond. "
Rebecca Mahony
Former EN Student
"East Norfolk helped massively in getting me to university. My a level subjects helped me to realise the topics I enjoyed the most, and ucas applications were dealt with simply with the help that was available for this. The learning environment at EN has also greatly helped me settle into the lecture teaching style, where self study learning is hugely encouraged."
