37 hours per week, term time plus 5 inset days from September 2019, rate of pay in accordance with nationally agreed rates for apprentices.*

                                         

The apprentice will provide an effective and efficient support provision for the College’s teaching and learning environment.

Essential Requirements

• At least 5 GCSE grades at C or above, including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalent Level 2 awards), or willing to obtain within the first year of appointment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure

To maintain and develop high standards of teaching and learning in the delivery of the courses for which the staff member is responsible. The postholder will plan and deliver high quality effective teaching and learning, enabling students to enjoy learning and achieve their full potential. 

                            

Essential requirements:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent and able to teach on a range of courses within the subject area
  • Teaching qualification or commitment to gaining Level 5 teaching qualification (Diploma in Education and Training) within two years of appointment essential
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent Level 2 awards)
