BTEC Business students at the East Norfolk Sixth Form College visited Coca-Cola Enterprises in Milton Keynes.

Education Centre Manager, Rachel Johnston, delivered a magnificent curriculum-based educational package for the group. In addition to a tour of the production facilities at the factory, she provided a unique insight into the demands of a UK manufacturing business.

Students were also shown a presentation relating to the company’s marketing strategies and how they use market research to shape their product range.

The students engaged themselves extremely well in the discussions, and demonstrated related marketing knowledge in the group tasks that they were set. Not only did the experience help to put their classroom learning in to reality, they were also given very useful advice regarding career progression routes and potential opportunities within Coca-Cola.
