Each year we provide support for around 300 students with a wide variety of learning needs and disabilities.
We have established strong provision for learners with a wide range of needs including autism, specific learning difficulties, physical and sensory impairments and mental health needs.
Our integrated provision covers welfare, pastoral and learning support services.
We work closely with partner schools and other institutions through transition planning between school and college to make sure we are aware of learning support needs as soon as possible so that we develop appropriate plans for students.
We are happy to make visits to schools and other institutions to support the transition process.
Once students with identified needs arrive at EN they can be offered a range of distinct support provision within the Additional Learning Support team, in addition to the wider support arrangements within curriculum, pastoral and welfare teams.
