EN loves to hear from former students and we are always inviting them to get in touch and share their stories with our current students and to help encourage and inspire future students.

The College wants to hear from their alumni and share their success stories to inspire local young people to achieve the highest level in their learning and to have the very highest aspirations for themselves and their families.

EN has a long and proud history of supporting young people to reach the very highest levels in their education. Former students have gone on to acting in the West End, running their own businesses, working in the NHS as dentists, doctors and surgeons, teaching or working across the World, designing new structures as engineers and architects, working in the military and numerous other careers.

EN Principal, Dr Catherine Richards said; “Our former students are a true inspiration for our current young people and we are very proud to include top civil servants, musicians, artists and professors as members of our alumni. We also have many former students now teaching at the College which we are extremely proud of and 6 of our 8 middle managers were former students too. This must be a record in further education.”

If you have stories about former East Norfolk students that you would like to share, please do get in touch with the switchboard and we would love to hear from you on 01493 662234.

University of Nottingham Student
I studied A-level Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Accounting. I am currently in my final year at the University of Nottingham studying Pharmacy and will be undertaking a placement next year at a community pharmacy. ENSFC helped me achieve and be successful in the A-levels I chose through offering a wide variety of opportunities, as well as giving me the confidence to achieve. Their careers where I was unsure of what career I should follow. The people and staff at ENSFC are brilliant; I enjoyed meeting and getting to know lots of new people

Revenue Analyst

I am currently working at Hoseasons as a Revenue Analyst. Alongside this, in my spare time I am studying a Bachelor of Laws LLB with the Open University. Going to East Norfolk gave me confidence, which I was lacking previously. I started at Hoseasons in the call centre as a Customer Service Advisor and worked my way up to my current title of Revenue Analyst, without the confidence I gained at East Norfolk I never would have been able to do this. My A Levels also gave me the tools I needed to join the Open University as a part time student. I hope to graduate with my LLB in 2023!

The thing I enjoyed most about going to East Norfolk was the people both in my classes, and teaching. There was so much support from every single person I came across that I never felt alone.

Backpacking the world
After college I went on to study a BSc in Geology at The University of Birmingham. I am currently on a 10 month backpacking trip exploring the world but when I return I am planning on getting a job in environmental sustainability. There was great support and information provided by ENSC for the whole university process. From choosing my uni, writing my application and then ensuring that I got the grades I needed. What I loved the most about ENSC was that it felt so different to high school. All my teachers were passionate and enthusiastic about teaching their subjects. I also loved the encouragement of independent study which went on to help me a lot when adjusting to university life.
